For more than 75 years, the MEDICE Health Family has been working tirelessly to advance pharmaceutical progress and is increasingly committed to protecting resources and preserving natural habitats.

On the initiative of managing partner Dr Katja Pütter-Ammer, the subsidiary sustainable4U was founded in 2020. It implements holistic and future-oriented projects in the field of ecological health. The goal: sustainable solutions for nutrition and the environment.

The framework for this is provided by the levels of action CREATE, DEVELOP and MAINTAIN.

Promotion of biodiversity Action level CREATION

Enhancement of natural habitats and biodiversity

At the CREATION level, we promote natural habitats and biodiversity. Here, we focus on bees, flowering meadows and orchards. These functioning ecosystems form the basis for the creation of natural and healthy food. sustainable4U is involved in long-term projects. The focus here is on nature as an endangered area.

Developing products and concepts

In the DEVELOPMENT division, we implement products and concepts that contribute to healthy nutrition and environmental protection. We are currently focusing on three areas of activity: creating healthy and sustainable catering for employees and guests through our subsidiary Friend-Ship, developing sustainable promotional items for the food and non-food sectors, and designing sustainable events.

Counteracting food waste

At the PRESERVE level, we develop concepts that conserve and preserve our resources. The company Green Guides optimises processes in commercial kitchens to counteract food waste.
