BKK-Landesverband NORDWEST and MEDICE Health Family sign agreement for digital healthcare service: femfeel app for women going through the menopause

Upon joining, insured persons of the respective BKK receive twelve months of free access to the femfeel app and two interactive expert webinars per year. As of 1 February, the following 14 health insurance companies have already joined the agreement: BKK B. Braun Aesculap, BKK Gildemeister-Seidensticker, BKK Herkules, BKK Pfaff, BKK PwC, BKK SBH (Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg), BKK Technoform, BKK VerbundPlus, BKK Wirtschaft und Finanzen, Continentale BKK, energie-BKK, R+V BKK, WMF BKK and ZF BKK.

Digital support for greater well-being

The femfeel digital care model supports women during the menopause by providing scientifically based content on nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management that is relevant to everyday life. The aim is to help women develop sustainable routines that have been proven to alleviate menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep problems and mood swings. Additional features such as a personal symptom diary, individualised evaluations and an extensive knowledge library help users to better understand changes and develop everyday strategies for greater well-being.

The new contract makes it easier for BKK members to quickly access a modern digital health solution in the area of women's health and creates a low-threshold additional offer for their insured persons.
