Terms and Conditions for MEDICE Events
Last updated: March 3, 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to events organized by MEDICE Arzneimittel Pütter GmbH & Co. KG, Kuhloweg 37, 58638 Iserlohn, Germany (“MEDICE”). As a participant, you are required to observe and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
MEDICE events are intended for professionals and are tailored to specific medical specialties. By participating, you confirm that, in accordance with the German Law on the Advertising of Medicines (HWG) or a corresponding law in your country of origin, you belong to a relevant professional group and possess the professional qualifications required for the content of the event.
MEDICE’s goal is to refrain from offering, promising, or granting any benefits that conflict with national or international laws and the AKG Code of Conduct (http://www.ak-gesundheitswesen.de/verhaltenskodex/). Accordingly, it is prohibited to offer, promise, or grant, directly or indirectly, benefits of any kind to employees and agents of companies, healthcare professionals, or public officials if this is intended to secure an unjustified advantage in the procurement or prescription of goods or services—in particular, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, as well as MEDICE medical devices— or a breach of duty by the recipient toward the company in such procurement decisions, in the performance of public duties, or in the exercise of official authority. MEDICE therefore expressly states that there is no expectation of preferential treatment for MEDICE products or for MEDICE itself. The scope of the benefits granted to participants is in accordance with the AKG Code of Conduct. If you are an employee or civil servant, you must obtain approval from your employer/supervisor to participate in the event. MEDICE will provide you with the appropriate form.
A successful registration does not guarantee the right to participate. MEDICE reserves the right to exclude individual participants or all participants from the event, in whole or in part; to modify the content of the event; or to postpone or cancel the event without offering a replacement.
You are not permitted to make audiovisual recordings of the event. All content from the event is protected by copyright and may only be edited, reproduced, or distributed with the express permission of MEDICE.
MEDICE shall be liable for damages incurred by participants only in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct; in cases of ordinary negligence, MEDICE shall be liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to damages typical for the contract. There is no limitation of liability for damages
a) resulting from injury to life, limb, or health caused by a culpable breach of duty by MEDICE or a legal representative or vicarious agent of MEDICE;
b) not covered by subparagraph (a) and resulting from a breach of duty by MEDICE or a legal representative or vicarious agent of MEDICE that constitutes at least gross negligence.
